
Csi New York is een spin-off van Csi crime scene investigation.
In 2005 was de eerste aflevering hier in nederland te zien.
Csi New York speeld af in de grootste stad van amerika waar dagelijks 8 miljoen mensen leven.
Een stad die nooit rust.
Het team bestaat uit Det. Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) en Det. Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) die samen met Danny Messer,Lindsay Monroe, Dr. Sheldon Hawks en Det. Don Flack.
Samen moeten ze de meest uit een lopende zaken proberen op te lossen.
Ondertussen is CSI New York bezig aan zijn zesde seizoen en er is voorloopig nog geen eind in zicht.
Nog niet eerder heeft een serie zoveel zeidige gezichten gehad.
een spannende,en soms ontroerende serie met bijzondere verhaal lijnen.

A.J. Buckley's television credits include recent guest starring roles in "Entourage," CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION and WITHOUT A TRACE, on CBS as well as "NYPD Blue" and "Supernatural." On the big screen he will be seen starring in the upcoming thriller "The Box" with Gabrielle Union, Mia Maestro and Giancarlo Esposito. He also appeared in "Happy Feet," "The Last Sin Eater," "Disturbing Behavior," "The In Crowd" and the critically acclaimed "Blue Car." In addition to his role in "CSI: NY," Buckley is also producing several television and feature projects with his company, Fourfront Productions. Born in Ireland, Buckley immigrated to Canada at age 6. As a teenager in British Colombia, Buckley began his acting career in the television series "The Odyssey.

When a serious back injury sidelined Carmine Giovinazzo in college, his dreams of becoming a professional baseball player were put aside and he turned to acting. Melina Kanakaredes starred for five seasons in the television series "Providence." Her additional television credits include "New York News," on CBS, "Leaving L.A.," "NYPD Blue" and guest-starring roles in "The Practice" and "Oz. " She also received two Emmy Award nominations for her work in the daytime drama "Guiding Light," on CBS. Her feature film credits include "Into the Fire," "Rounders," "Dangerous Beauty," "The Long Kiss Goodnight" and "15 Minutes." Kanakaredes is a second-generation Greek American. She made her acting debut at age 8 in an Ohio community theater production of "Tom Sawyer." She attended Ohio State University, where she studied music, dance and theater. Robert Joy's television credits include a series regular role on "M.D.'s" and a leading role on the CBS movie of the week "Helter Skelter." He also had a recurring role on "Boston Legal" and guest-starring roles on numerous hit shows including "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "Without A Trace," both on the CBS Television Network, "Medium" and "Malcolm In the Middle."
